Welcome to a new blog, all about my plan to tackle the Busselton Ironman 70.3 (or Half Ironman) in December. This event is made up of a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and a 21.1km run. The 70.3 refers to the total distance in miles.
I’m a complete triathlon beginner, but have chosen to take on this challenge to see how far I can push myself both physically and mentally. It’s also a great way to keep fit outside of the rally car.
In this page I will be recording my training journey so I can learn more about myself, stay accountable and hopefully connect with more people out there who may be interested in following this challenge, or taking it on as well!
